Interview Flow

The interview flow is all about the partnership between you and your joint venture partner, who interviews you, whether it’s through a webinar, YouTube interview, podcast, or Facebook Live. When done right, this process can bring in a significant number of leads.

To achieve great results, you need to consider three key factors: following the flow, ensuring your joint venture partner has a relevant audience, and making sure they have a large enough audience (ideally 1,000+ people).

Remember, a coaching business boils down to three main aspects: Traffic, Nurture, and Transact (TNT). The interview flow not only brings relevant traffic but also serves as a nurturing tool, as it allows people to know, like, and trust you.

Traffic:

Traffic is the process of attracting interested people to your coaching business. This can be done through various channels, such as social media, search engine optimization, paid ads, or joint ventures (like the interview flow we’re discussing).

When you participate in interviews, whether through podcasts, webinars, YouTube, or Facebook Live, you have the potential to reach a large, relevant audience. Choosing the right joint venture partner and making sure their audience is relevant to your coaching niche is crucial for generating high-quality traffic.

Nurture:

The nurturing process is about building a relationship with the potential clients you’ve attracted through traffic. You want them to know, like, and trust you, so they feel comfortable working with you as their coach. The interview flow is an excellent nurturing tool, as it allows potential clients to get to know you better and develop trust in your expertise. Since they’re already familiar with the person interviewing you, their trust in the interviewer can be transferred to you, making the nurturing process more effective.

Transact:

This is the final step, where you convert potential clients into paying clients. After you have successfully attracted and nurtured your audience, they are more likely to invest in your coaching services. The interview flow simplifies the transaction process because potential clients have already had the opportunity to learn about your coaching style, your expertise, and your personality, making it easier for them to decide if they want to work with you.

Key Components of Interview Flow

Build rapport

Start the interview by establishing rapport with the interviewer and the audience. Share a bit about your background and experiences to create a connection with the listeners.

Share valuable content

Throughout the interview, make sure you’re providing valuable and actionable content to the audience. Don’t just talk about yourself – give them insights and strategies that they can implement in their own lives or businesses.

Engage with the audience

If possible, interact with the audience during the interview. Answer questions, address comments, and make the conversation feel inclusive. This will help establish trust with the listeners and make them more likely to follow your call to action at the end of the interview.

Showcase your expertise

Demonstrate your expertise in your niche by answering questions and sharing your knowledge confidently. This will help build credibility and trust with the audience.

Be authentic

Be genuine and authentic throughout the interview. People can sense when someone is being insincere, and this can harm your credibility. Be yourself and share your experiences honestly.

Create a sense of urgency

Towards the end of the interview, create a sense of urgency for the audience to take action. Offer a limited-time special or exclusive offer that encourages them to act now rather than later.

Clear call to action

Finally, provide a clear call to action at the end of the interview. Instead of just sharing your social media handles, guide the audience to take a specific action, like booking a call with you or signing up for your newsletter.

Remember, the end result is a reflection of the entire journey, so focus on providing value, engaging with the audience, and being authentic throughout the interview. With this Interview Flow, when you reach the end and offer a clear call to action, you’ll see much better results.
